Delete a refinement I don’t like

Yes. You can now delete individual refinements you don’t want and continue refining from a better version instead of starting over.

Why would I delete a refinement?

Sometimes a refinement goes in the wrong direction — maybe the style shifts too much, a key element disappears, or the result just doesn’t feel right.

Previously, your only options were:

  • Keep refining from that version, or

  • Start again from the original image

Now, you can simply remove the bad step and continue from the last good result.

How deleting a refinement works

  • Open your design and flip through your refinements

  • When you’re viewing a refinement you don’t like, click Delete

  • Confirm the deletion

Once deleted:

  • That refinement is permanently removed

  • The newest remaining refinement becomes the “latest” version

  • You can continue refining from that version as if the deleted one never existed

What happens to the other refinements?

  • Only the selected refinement is removed

  • Earlier refinements stay untouched

  • Later refinements (if any) remain in order

This gives you full control over your refinement history.

Can I undo a deleted refinement?

No, once a refinement is deleted, it can’t be recovered.
That’s why we always ask you to confirm before deleting.

Why is this useful?

This feature makes refining feel more flexible and forgiving:

  • You can experiment freely

  • Remove bad results without fear

  • Avoid restarting from scratch

Design is iterative — this update makes the process feel that way too.
