How Do Design Credits Work?

A credit is only used when you generate a brand new design. Once a design exists, you can refine it as many times as you want, completely free, no credits used.
What Is a Design Credit?
A design credit is what gets used each time you create a new room design from scratch. That means uploading your room photo, choosing your style and preferences, and clicking Create to generate a fresh design.
One new design = one credit.
That's the only time a credit is used.
What Doesn't Use Credits?
Everything you do after a design is generated is free and unlimited. This includes:
Tweak — Making smaller, targeted changes to your design (swapping a rug, changing wall colour, adding a plant). The rest of the design stays the same.
Transform — Rethinking the design more broadly if the overall direction isn't working. The AI has more freedom to reimagine the space while keeping your room's structure.
Fix Room — Correcting the room's architecture if the AI shifted a window, wall, or doorway from where it actually is in your space.
Deleting a version — Removing a refinement you don't like.
Downloading or saving — Keeping your designs for reference.
You can refine a single design dozens of times without spending another credit. There's no limit on refinements.
How Many Credits Do I Get?
It depends on your plan:
7-Day Trial — 5 credits (included with your $1 trial)
Monthly Plan — 30 credits per month
Quarterly Plan — 90 credits every 3 months
Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle.
When Should I Refine vs. Start a New Design?
Refine when you like the general direction but want to adjust specific things — the colours, a piece of furniture, the lighting, some decor.
Start fresh (use a new credit) when the design has gone in a direction that doesn't feel right and you'd rather try again with different inputs. Sometimes the most useful thing you take from a first attempt is a clearer sense of what you do and don't want — and a new generation with better inspiration images or adjusted settings will get you further than trying to fix something that's heading the wrong way.
A good rule of thumb: if you're happy with the feel but want to change details, refine. If the whole thing feels off, start fresh.
Where Can I Check My Remaining Credits?
Your current credit balance is visible on your dashboard. You can also check your usage and billing details on the Account & Billing page.
