One of our long-term vision is for you to be able to shop directly for similar items from the AI rendered image. This requires a lot of work on the backend but is one feature that I think is going to be a big game changer in designing your own home.

For those of us that are building out our rooms and house, it might be good to have the ability to use a “stock” image that you have there that resembles our room to be able to begin thinking of design. Also possibly to upload a plan of a room, etc. Great tools, great innovation! Keep it up!

eg: i have a kitchen that has fridge and freezer behind cabinet doors that no matter what i do i cant get renderer properly. there is a halfroom width wall behind it and the ai makes the cabinet as deep as the wall also it would have been nice to have a floorplan and photos from all directions to make a 360 viewable image :)

Is there any chance of uploading a floorplan to make designs more accurate?

I’d would be nice to give instructions like ‘show me how the room would look with either this or that’ 2 different wall paints, pictures, curtains etc to see them side by side instead of having to generate two designs

Dear team,I was hoping to use the app to style cumbersome small entryway, but I am not able to since I would need to take multiple pictures from different angles to be able to truly capture the room s features. Otherwise there is no point in styling a wall where the only option is a cabinet, a window and the entrance door. The house is under construction. I can think of many situations where only 1 picture is really not enough to truly represent a room. It might be a pro feature, but if it worked to design a room and not only to style some minor features, I would be willing to pay much moreBest wishes

If users could upload panoramic photos of their space, it will help greatly give the AI much more accurate content to work with in designing and refining the space. This hold especially true for small spaces where the camera angle can’t capture all the points of entry or windows on both adjacent walls. Multi-Photo alternativeAlternatively, allowing a user to share multiple photos with different angles could be used to help create the comprehension of the space and the AI can choose one or two of those photos to render to give a better representation of the space. Case for Panoramic SupportI suggest the panoramic approach to the photo taking so keep the flow of the room easier for the AI to process and you can even have the UI of the app use the native panoramic photo support to collect. Future Feature with Advancement of AI (home designer app differentiator)Future feature opportunity for the app can to create interactive panoramic results as AI continues to evolve. (think Google Maps “Street View” for one’s room)

The AI was very helpful to see new paint, wall, flooring changes. It did change the architecture a few times, but I was able to fix that. However, when it comes to making furniture layout prompts, the AI is not following prompts. For example, I’m trying to make a large great room into three zones, a dining area, a formal living area in front of the fireplace, and a TV watching zone. The AI has selected a sofa and table for the last two areas and I’m having difficulty event asking it to empty that part of the room. The dining area is fine, but I can’t even get a basic layout correct before attempting to place exact furniture pieces I would like to see in the room. I tried to email for help but haven’t received a reply. I really would like the program to work as I think it would be a very useful visualization tool. Any help is appreciated. Thanks L. Lowe

The engine sometimes seems to mistake what important furniture I’d like to swap is, which fixtures I’m referring to, or properly identify landmarks in the room—if I could tag them manually, it might help the engine know what I’m referring to and properly tweak a design.

After the initial AI design and improvements the user is left pretty much to their own devices. It would be nice to get some feedback on how the changes work/don’t work to create a cohesive picture. Especially when it comes to colour. I add funiture suggestions from local shops and I can see they might not go together, but I cannot pinpoint why. Or just a heads up, that the colours clash, or a suggestion for a colour palette based on features I want in the room (like a specific painting)

I'd like to have the option of providing a colour palette indepdently of room or inspiration photos. It could be a complete colour palette, i.e. for use including on fixed/major elements such as wall and floor colour, or just for furniture and decor. It would be nice if there was a way to differentiate between main colours, secondary colours, and accents (e.g. by the proportion of a palette image each colour occupies, or by specifying them sepearately and indicating primary/secondary/accent for each). Including a colour palette will help keep designs cohesive across rooms, particularly when inspiration photos have the structural elements desired but not the right colours. (And it will hopefully also address the problem I've been having recently where the AI totally ignores the colour palette in my inspiration photos.) It will also ensure the AI output reflects the actual colours you want, rather than trying to interpret colour names. (In the past, different colour names for varying shades in one colour family have often produced all the same output.) And it will hopefully ensure a sufficient variety of colours/shades in decor items and other room accents, as these have tended to be overly restricted (sometimes just one colour for everything) in many AI designs. NB: I've already tried uploading 5-colour palette swatches as inspiration photos, but the AI doesn't seem to handle them as colour palettes. From how the colours were applied, and in what order, I'm guessing it's trying to interpret them as standard room photos.

I would love a "revert" feature, since each set of refinement instructions seems to build on the refinement instructions previously entered (re-entering a past good set of instructions doesn’t give the same output as it did the first time). When things don’t go as intended and a set of refinement instructions results worse output than the previous set, it would be good to be able to have them ignored rather than contributing in any manner to subsequent renders. Ideally, one could “revert” more than one set of instructions. Alternatively, providing a way to cancel all refinement instructions and start again with the original/initially-generated AI output would also be helpful.

It would be nice to be able to delete designs. I have tweaked my room plenty of times and I realise I went down a path I do not like compared to previous designs. So I want to delete the designs I don’t like and pick up at an earlier stage.Also, the ‘saved’ designs are nowhere to be found when I go back to the dashboard.

Ability to make smaller, more granular (and much more accurate) updates to your design. Small tweaks will take under 20 seconds—a big improvement!

Update ‘Refine My Design’ Feature

I tried uploading my room photo several times and couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t uploading. I finally figured out the file size was too large and got it converted to something smaller. Once it was smaller I was able to upload it successfully. It would have been helpful to have a prompt telling me my file was too large and to choose a smaller file.

You need to be able to refine multiple times, not just the once. You don't know what you don't know until something is presented back to you and then you may like some of it but not others.

Right now, I keep having to re-upload the same images of furniture and rooms to get the best results when transforming designs. Since the "Tweak/Transform" function can sometimes stray too far from the original image and doesn’t have an undo feature yet, it would be great if there was a way to save these images for easy access. I think this would streamline the design process and ensure consistently high-quality transformations.

I expected it to start from scratch. It’s no biggie to remove it before selecting a new photo, and I actually do want to try several designs from the same starting point, but it should be consistent between the two design areas.
