What I’ve found effective after writing any AI request, from intial design to tweaks, is to write the very last sentence and say “Zero camera shift from original photo” . That sentence allows AI maintain the exact scale and/or dimension of the room.

I have had proportion issues as well and agree something like this would be useful.

This could be optional… For ease of use it’s nice to be able to just upload a photo and rely on the AI to keep the room proportions, but there are cases when it doesn’t quite get it right (although it’s much improved from earlier!).
It’d take a bit of thought on how to do it easily and accurately, though, particularly for spaces that aren’t square/rectangular (I have quite a few angled walls in my house).
And it’d need to accept metric as well as imperial (US) measurements. ;)
